The operator

Which legal entity operates the service

GCash is a trading name used by the company that owns and operates this website and the associated client platform.

The operating company is the entity you contract with when you accept our Terms of Use and establish an account. Its complete legal designation, its organizational structure, its registration details and the specific group affiliation are outlined in the client agreement provided during the account setup process, and may be obtained upon application using the methods outlined in the "Requesting documentation" section that follows.

Because corporate structures, registered particulars and service arrangements can change, we deliberately do not restate them as fixed text on a marketing page. The client agreement and the documentation pack we send you are the authoritative source; where this page and those documents differ, the documents prevail.

Group companies and service providers

Certain functions - technology hosting, payment processing, market data, customer identification tools - are carried out by specialist third-party providers under written agreements. The categories of provider we use, and the way your personal data is handled by them, are described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish provider names on this page.

Framework

The regulatory framework we work within

We describe here the type of obligations that govern the service, rather than naming authorities or quoting reference numbers, which belong in the formal documentation.

  1. 01

    Client identification

All accounts undergo verification prior to deposits, trading activities or fund withdrawals, consistent with the KYC and AML protocols detailed on our KYC & AML page.

  2. 02

    Financial-crime prevention

Sanctions and risk screening, ongoing transaction monitoring, internal escalation procedures and record retention for the periods required by applicable law.

  3. 03

    Handling of client money

Client funds are maintained as separate records from the company's operational capital, and refunds are directed to an approved payment method registered under the client's name.

  4. 04

    Fair and clear communication

Costs, spreads and any applicable fees are published in your account and on our pricing page. We do not promise specific returns, and all promotional material carries a risk warning.

  5. 05

    Data protection

Personal data is processed on a defined lawful basis, retained only as long as necessary, and protected by access controls and encryption in transit and at rest.

  6. 06

    Complaints handling

A documented internal grievance resolution process including acknowledgement of receipt, thorough review and a comprehensive response provided within the period specified at the time your grievance is submitted.

Where a jurisdiction imposes stricter local requirements than those above, the stricter requirement applies to clients resident there.

Availability

Jurisdictions served and excluded

The service is offered only where we are permitted to offer it. Availability is assessed at registration on the basis of your country of residence, and it can change.

Where the service is offered

Accounts may be opened by residents of the countries listed as eligible in the registration flow of your account. If your country appears in that list and you pass verification, you can proceed. If it does not appear, the service is not available to you.

Where the service is not offered

  • Nations and regions that are affected by relevant international trade restrictions or sanctions measures.
  • Regulatory areas where delivering this category of offering to non-professional clients demands a regional license which we presently do not possess.
  • Jurisdictions identified as high risk for financial crime under applicable rules.
  • Any region we have determined to restrict based on our own compliance considerations.

No solicitation

Nothing on this website is directed at, or intended for distribution to or use by, any person in a jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law. Accessing this site from an excluded jurisdiction does not create a right to use the service. If you move to an excluded jurisdiction while holding an account, tell us - the account may need to be restricted or closed and any balance returned to you.

Documentation

How to request corporate and compliance documents

Clients, prospective clients and professional counterparties may request our corporate and compliance documentation. We provide it on request rather than publishing it openly.

What can be requested

  • Confirmation of the operating entity and its corporate particulars.
  • Your existing client agreement along with the applicable fee structure for your specific account.
  • A summary of our AML and client-identification procedures.
  • The grievance management framework and procedure for further recourse.
  • Data-protection information relating to your own personal data.

How to make the request

  1. 01

    Write to us

Use the contact route on our contact page. Enter "Regulatory documentation request" as the heading.

  2. 02

    Identify yourself

Specify whether you are a current client (providing the registered email for that account) or a prospective client, plus specify which materials you require.

  3. 03

    Receive the pack

Requests are answered within the timeframe stated when your request is acknowledged. Some documents may be provided in extract form where they contain confidential internal detail.

Materials are transmitted to the approved contact address recorded in our system. We are unable to forward account-related materials to an external party without your express written permission.

Contact

Regulatory and compliance questions

Questions about our regulatory position, our compliance procedures, or a concern you would like escalated should go to the compliance route rather than to general support.

How do I raise a compliance question?

Send it through the contact page and mark it "Compliance". Include the account email address if you already hold an account, and describe the question in a sentence or two.

How do I make a formal complaint?

Follow the identical method and label the communication "Complaint". You will get an acknowledgement, a case identifier and an estimated timeframe for our substantive response. Should the response prove unsatisfactory, further escalation procedures will be detailed in our reply.

What is the procedure for notifying us of suspicious conduct or misappropriation of our company name?

Access the abuse notification portal. Cases of impersonating GCash through correspondence, promotional materials or duplicate websites must be communicated there so appropriate intervention may be undertaken.

Are institutional or press enquiries handled here?

Yes - send them through the contact page with a clear subject line and they will be routed to the right team.
